Orders and Availability

When placing an order with ‘Originals Interiors UK’, you are entering a contract for us to supply handmade lampshades/other upholstery, soft furnishing items. Once your order has been accepted the contract becomes blinding. In unlikely circumstances the product you have ordered becomes unavailable, a full refund will be offered or an alternative product preferred by yourself. 

Refunds

Due to unavailability will be made 14 days of your order if not sooner.

Product Pricing & Payment

Prices are shown in English pounds sterling. No VAT is applicable. Pricing can change without notice. Payment is used through Shopify allowing payment through the internet, please also note we do not take cheques or monies over the phone.

Delivery

Stock items are dispatched within 3-5 working days after receipt of payment. All made to order are normally dispatched 2-3 weeks after receipt of payment, we do try to fulfill order earlier if possible.

We will notify you when your purchase has been dispatched via email. All lampshades apart from commissions are posted free of charge. Goods are delivered to UK addresses, with reputable courier/postal services with tracking facilities.

Product Information & Safety

Originals Interiors UK ensure that descriptions, pricing and details of products that appear on the website are current and correct.

Fabric samples are available on request for items listed on ‘the shop’. Sometimes images can look different on whatever device you are viewing on, therefore we cannot guarantee perfect matching.

Bespoke lampshades are made individually to order, making pattern placement differ from shades on the website, we endeavor to match as close as possible, but we are governed by the size of panel/frame used.

For lampshades, recommendation is 40w max bulb, LED or energy saving light bulbs, ensuring the bulb is 5cm away from the sides of the shade.

Handsewn, tailored shades are treated with a water based fire retardant spray which acts a flame proof barrier on fabrics and has non- toxic/non-hazardous formulation.

Drum shades with self-adhesive panels have been tested in the Lighting Association Laboratories and have passed the glow wire test which is The British Standard for Luminaries.

Cancellation of Orders

Originals Interiors UK reserve the right to cancel orders/purchases for any reason prior to dispatch.

For any reason orders are cancelled, refunds will be given. If for any reason you wish to cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible with your order details.

Order Returns

Refunds are given on stock items providing the item is returned within 10 working days of receipt.

The returned item must be packaged to the standard it was received, and sent back using a trackable/insured delivery provider at your own cost.

If your order is damaged on arrival due to transit, please contact us immediately as we only have a window of 7 days to make a claim with the delivery company involved. Please keep all packaging and take images for proof until the situation is resolved, reimbursement will be done as soon as

possible.

Bespoke items that are made to order, sadly are not returnable.

Client Commissions

Clients requiring a commission which requires their own choice of fabric will be asked to sent us a swatch with description/size of item, upon receipt of this information we will send an estimate of works. Once accepted we will email more details for part payment before works are undertaken.

Privacy

Originals Interiors UK will not share your contact details with anyone, we conform to the Data Protection Act 1998.

Intellectual Property

All graphics/images/logos etc are the property of Originals Interiors UK, and we ask you not to use them, download or share.
